LASER GENESIS

Laser Genesis, performed using Cutera Excel V+ technology, works by gently heating the upper dermis with pulsing micro-beams of laser energy. This process helps diffuse overall redness, stimulate collagen production, and refine skin texture by minimising the appearance of large pores and skin irregularities.

  • Optimising Your Skincare Routine

    To strengthen your skin before treatment, your clinician will recommend a tailored cosmeceutical skincare regimen. These products contain active ingredients that work at a deeper level to:

    • Enhance collagen stimulation for better Laser Genesis results

    Pre-Treatment Guidelines

    • Avoid Sun Exposure (1–2 Weeks Prior). Sun exposure increases the risk of pigmentation and sensitivity. Always wear SPF 50+ and avoid direct sun exposure leading up to your treatment.

    • Tanned Skin Cannot Be Treated. If your skin is tanned—whether from the sun, solariums, or fake tan—it increases the risk of complications. Your skin must be in its natural state for safe and effective treatment.

    • Pause Retinols & Exfoliants (A Few Days Before). Retinoids, AHAs, and strong exfoliants can make your skin more sensitive. Stop using them a few days before your session to prevent irritation.

  • Following your Laser Genesis treatment, proper aftercare will help enhance results and keep your skin calm and protected.

    Immediate Post-Treatment Care

    • Redness & Warmth: Mild redness and a warm sensation are normal and usually subside within a few hours. Apply a cool compress (wrapped in a soft cloth) if needed to soothe the skin.

    • Hydration and Skincare: Keep your skin hydrated with a mild cleanser, non-active serum and soothing balm to support healing. (Prescribed by your clinician)

    • Sun Protection: Your skin will be more sensitive to UV exposure. Apply SPF 50+ daily and avoid direct sun exposure for at least one week to prevent pigmentation changes.

    What to Avoid

    • Heat & Sweating: Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours to prevent excessive heat build up in the skin.

    • Harsh Skincare Products: Avoid retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and strong exfoliants for at least 3–5 days to prevent irritation.

    Ongoing Care for Best Results

    • Continue using cosmeceutical skincare as recommended by your clinician to support skin health and collagen production.

    • A series of treatments is recommended for optimal results, as benefits build over time.

COOLVIEW™

CoolView™ is a targeted laser treatment designed to address vascular and pigmentary concerns. Unlike Laser Genesis, which provides overall skin clarity and rejuvenation, CoolView™ delivers focused laser energy to precisely target problem areas such as spider veins, facial redness, broken capillaries, rosacea, brown spots, and sun damage.

    • Reduces visible veins, including broken capillaries and rosacea

    • Corrects pigmentation issues from sun damage and hyperpigmentation

    • More precise and localised compared to Laser Genesis for specific concerns

  • CoolView™ uses targeted laser pulses to break down pigmentation and vascular lesions. This may result in a slightly more intense sensation compared to Laser Genesis, but it remains tolerable.

    CoolView™ provides powerful, precise correction for vascular and pigmentation concerns, leaving your skin clearer and more even-toned with minimal downtime.
